Wine festivals and tours in Germany and Switzerland

Various wine festivals and promotional tours are scheduled for 2026 across southern Germany and parts of Switzerland.

South Tyrol is organizing a nationwide tour in Germany titled ‘South Tyrol by the Glass’ from October 23 to November 8, 2026. This initiative, led by the South Tyrol Wine Consortium, will feature tastings in 17 different locations, including restaurants and hotels, with specialized events such as a ‘High Wine’ afternoon tea in Dresden.

Regional festivals are also planned for the summer and autumn. Notable events include the Stetten wine festival, the ‘Schafuuser Wiiprob’ in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, the Immenstaad wine festival, and the Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg wine festival in Breisach. Additionally, the 14th annual wine festival in Wörschweiler is set for October 3 at the Klosterruine Wörschweiler, themed ‘Wine enjoyment between historical walls’ and featuring local Palatinate specialties.
