The wine industries in La Rioja, Argentina, and Rioja, Spain, are focusing on economic diversification and tourism. Located in the easternmost part of La Rioja, this area offers a distinct Mediterranean climate and fertile soils shaped by the Ebro River and valleys such as the Cidacos, Alhama, and Jubera. Centered around the axis of Alfaro, Aldeanueva de Ebro, and Arnedo, the region features continuous vineyards, traditional winery neighborhoods, and historical orchards, providing a quieter alternative to more crowded wine regions.
