In a recent hearing at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Klitschko was granted temporary guardianship of the estate. During the proceedings, Kaya, who currently resides with her father in Ukraine, appeared remotely to confirm her identity to Judge Stephanie C. Santoro. Klitschko continues to seek additional legal authority to involve law enforcement in investigating the potential misappropriation of property to prevent further “direct financial detriment” to Kaya, who is Panettiere’s sole intestate heir. A permanent administrator for the estate is expected to be appointed in December.
