Nigeria is experiencing an increase in female representation within various professional leadership sectors. In the healthcare and advertising industries, efforts have been made to address the gap between the high percentage of women in the global healthcare workforce and their limited presence in decision-making roles. In the advertising sector, the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) elected an Executive Committee with a significant female presence, consisting of six women and five men. This trend extends into is particularly evident in the legal profession, where women have secured five of the country’s most critical positions, including positions. These roles include the Chief Justice of Nigeria Nigeria, the President of the Court of Appeal, the leader of the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, the Director-General of the Law School, and the President of the Nigerian Bar Association. Current achievements are attributed to a succession of female pioneers working across generations to break into traditionally male vocations.
