WOWOW Japanese music concert broadcasts

Overview

The Japanese broadcaster WOWOW has announced a series of musical programming and concert broadcasts.

In late August, it was announced that the rock band T-BOLAN would have its final Nippon Budokan concert, recorded on August 10, broadcast and streamed on September 6. This broadcast is accompanied by a documentary film detailing the band’s history and footage from their 2014 concert.

Further programming scheduled for the final months of the year includes performances by TUBE at Yokohama Stadium, Chevon at Yokohama Arena, and Fumiya Fujii at the Nippon Budokan. Additionally, the ‘Rokuman Sai — SPITZ Masamune Kusano’s Rock Continent Wandering Festival’ featuring Spitz, Teenage Fanclub, Ride, and Hitsujibungaku is set for exclusive broadcast in December.
