The World Surf League (WSL) Fiji Championship Tour at Cloudbreak concluded with American surfer Cole Houshmand claiming the Fiji Pro title. Houshmand secured the victory in the final against Brazil's Gabriel Medina, finishing with a total of 16.87 points to Medina's 15.17. Despite earning a perfect 10 score for a tube ride late in the heat, Medina finished in second place. Medina reached the final after defeating Kauli Vaast in the quarterfinals and Griffin Colapinto in the semifinals. This second-place finish moves the three-time world champion to fourth in the season rankings, helping him continue his effort to break a title drought dating back to April 2023 following a significant shoulder injury in 2025. Houshmand’s ~~victory~~ victory, his third CT win, moved him from 22nd to 17th in the standings. Earlier in the competition, Yago Dora had been eliminated by Houshmand in the quarterfinals. In the women’s division, Canadian Erin Brooks claimed the ~~title following~~ title, marking her second consecutive CT win.
