The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has announced its 26th Global Summit, scheduled to take place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta, from October 7–9, 2026. Themed ‘FUTU[RE]SET: Shaping the Future of Travel & Tourism’, the summit aims to address industry transformation with a specific focus on technology and artificial intelligence. This follows recent data indicating that global travel and tourism investment exceeded $1 trillion in 2025, contributing a record $11.6 trillion to world GDP.
