The 2026 Wyoming high school cross country season commenced during the final weekend of August. Opening week competitions were held across several states, including Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Nebraska. In Afton, Wyoming, Kellsie Dunne of Star Valley won the girls' race at the More Cowbell Invitational.
