The 2026 season of the Hungarian talent competition X-Faktor has commenced filming at the RTL Hungary studios in Budatétény. The season features hosts Babett Köllő and Márk Ember, alongside mentors Solére, Majka, Gáspár Laci, and ByeAlex. As filming progresses, the mentor dynamic has been characterized by spontaneous, unscripted, and sharp verbal exchanges. Tensions between mentors have escalated significantly. A leaked clip revealed a heated confrontation where Majka accused ByeAlex of behaving like an ‘amateur’ during a contestant’s performance. During the sixth audition episode, disagreements intensified over contestant Miklós Borz; while Gáspár Laci and Solére supported the act, ByeAlex dismissed it as a ‘karaoke show’ and accused the singer of being a ‘voice imitator.’ Amidst these frictions, Gáspár Laci provided a moment of levity by inviting rapper hazetomika to the stage following a lost bet with ~~Majka, an event ByeAlex described as the ‘best day of my life.’~~ Majka. Contestant performances have also drawn ~~attention for unconventional behavior, such as Béla Hegyi, who distributed raw meat from~~ attention. Máté Gudics delivered a ~~cooler bag~~ tribute to the audience, drawing criticism regarding the appropriateness of the act. Conversely, 21-year-old Kevin Balog has emerged as a strong contender. Following a performance that showcased vocal clarity and stage presence, Gáspár Laci referred to him as a ‘polished diamond,’ late Zsuzsa Cserháti, while ~~ByeAlex noted his suitability for live shows.~~ Alexandra Horváth impressed the panel despite undergoing lung surgery.
