Xbox Free Play Days promotions

Overview

Microsoft has implemented periodic Xbox Free Play Days events, offering various titles to users through different access models.

In early October, the promotion provided Xbox Game Pass members access to ‘Screamer’ and ‘Family Man’, while ‘ARC Raiders’ was available to all members. Other titles like ‘S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl’ and ‘Little Nightmares III’ were offered via limited-time trials. Players purchasing these titles during the promotion can retain their achievements and progression.

Later in the month, from October 22 to 25, the event featured ‘Riders Republic’ for all Xbox users to celebrate its fifth anniversary, alongside three-hour trials for ‘Monster Hunter Stories 1’ and ‘2’. Xbox Game Pass members were granted full access to ‘Dying Light 2 Stay Human – Reloaded Edition’, ‘Let’s Build a Zoo’, and ‘Tropico 6’, which were also available at discounted prices. This period coincided with the Xbox Shocktober Sale, offering discounts on franchises such as ‘Halo Infinite’, ‘Forza Horizon 5’, ‘Gears 5’, ‘Sea of Thieves’, and ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’.
