Microsoft is expanding the Xbox Game Pass library through the summer and early autumn of 2026. In late July and mid-August, the service added various titles including The Planet Crafter, the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake, and the highly anticipated Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak. Moving into September, the catalog additions include Shelldiver and Virtua Fighter, alongside a ten-hour trial for NHL 27. Additionally, Microsoft introduced a promotional incentive offering 5 Euro in store credit for customers who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 via the Xbox App or Microsoft Store. As of early September, the confirmed lineup for the month includes Shelldiver (September 1), SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed (September 3), Dice a Million (September 4), Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (September 8), The Royal Writ (September 10), and Virtua Fighter 5 R. E. V. O. World Stage (September 10). Ten games are scheduled to depart the service on September 15: Cyberpunk 2077, Commandos: Origins, Cricket 24, Dead Cells, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, Frostpunk 2, Mullet Madjack, Spiritfarer, Superliminal, and Train Sim World 5. To mitigate these departures, subscribers are typically offered a 20% discount to purchase the titles individually. Additionally, TCG Card Shop Simulator is set to transition from Game Preview to its full 1.0 version on September 15.
