Xiaomi is expanding its presence in the semiconductor and mobile hardware markets through proprietary development and high-end component integration. The company has officially unveiled its Xring chip series, which includes the Xring O3 flagship SoC, the Xring O100 AI accelerator, and the Xring D100 chip for autonomous driving. Manufactured by TSMC using the 3nm N3P process, the Xring O3 is a second-generation processor featuring 24 billion transistors and a 10-core architecture. It has set performance records by exceeding 5.22 million points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark. Notably, the Xring O3 is the first mobile processor to support the LPDDR6 memory standard, offering speeds up to 10,667Mbps. Industry reports suggest standard. Regarding upcoming hardware, leaked images of an engineering prototype for the Xiaomi 18 Fold, which will debut the Xring O3, have surfaced.
