XREAL, an augmented reality hardware and software company, has expanded its product presence through exhibition and new product announcements. In late September 2026, the company showcased its ‘XREAL 1S’ model and the new ‘xbx a01+’ brand at the ‘Mac Fan Fes. 2026. 09’ event in Tokyo. Following this, XREAL announced pricing for the ‘XREAL Aura’, its first pair of Android XR glasses. Additionally, the company offered price reductions on its ‘a01+’ prism display glasses during Amazon’s Prime Day. On October 7, 2026, further details were released regarding the XREAL Aura, a spatial computing device developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. To maintain a lightweight frame of under 95 grams, the system utilizes a split-computing architecture where the glasses connect via cable to an external computing pack. This pack houses a Snapdragon Reality Elite processor, a battery, and an interaction touchpad. The Aura features optical see-through lenses with a 70-degree field of view, hand-tracking, Bose audio technology, and Google Gemini AI integration. The glasses utilize OLED displays with a resolution of 1920x1200 per eye and are equipped with three cameras for spatial awareness, hand tracking, and environmental recognition. Two configurations are available: a 12GB RAM/256GB storage model starting at $1,279 and a 16GB RAM/512GB storage model for $1,499. The device can also function as a video display for other USB Type-C devices that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Pre-orders and shipping are targeted for the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, with shipments expected to begin before the end of the year. The device has also prompted discussions regarding privacy concerns related to its built-in cameras and environmental sensors. On October 10, 2026, XREAL is scheduled to showcase its new sub-brand, xbx, at the ‘TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9’ event in Akihabara. The exhibition will feature the xbx a01+, a lightweight AR glass weighing approximately 56g without its front frame. Priced at 43,980 yen, the device is designed for gaming and video consumption via a single-cable connection to compatible USB Type-C devices.
