In late July 2026 validators began a two‑week voting period that requires at least 28 of the 35 independent validators to support a bundled set of five protocol amendments for two consecutive weeks. The package – Batch transactions, Confidential Transfers (MPT) using zero‑knowledge proofs, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, Permission Delegation, and Dynamic Multi‑Purpose Tokens – is included in the xrpld 3.3.0 software release. On 31 July, RippleX head of product Jazzi Cooper announced that xrpld v3.3.0 would be released the following week, reiterating the same five features and stressing their importance for institutional payments, trading, collateralisation and settlement. The same day a detailed briefing listed the amendments as Confidential MPT, Batch, Permission Delegation, Sponsored Fees/Reserves and Dynamic MPT, describing how they add native privacy, atomic transaction bundling, and flexible token control. By 3 August the network confirmed the move from version 3.2.1 to 3.3.0, adding a sixth minor improvement and clarifying that validators must achieve roughly 80 % support for two consecutive weeks before the changes become active. The upgrade will become active only after the required validator consensus is achieved.
