The Yijing X9 flagship SUV, a brand developed through cooperation between Dongfeng Motor Group and Huawei, has entered its production and launch phase. The first production unit recently rolled off an automated, zero-emission assembly line in Chengdu. The vehicle features Huawei-integrated technologies, including the HarmonySpace 6 operating system and the Qiankun ADS 5 Max autonomous driving suite. Interior specifications include a 17.2-inch dual-screen cockpit and laser-projected displays. Following the start of production, the model is scheduled to enter pre-sales in August, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of the year. As the launch progresses, Yijing Auto has named singer and actor Aaron Kwok as the global spokesperson for the X9, which is characterized as a flagship large six-seater family SUV. Technical details released include a vehicle length of 5301mm with a 3120mm wheelbase. The SUV is equipped with 896-line dual-light path image-level LiDAR across all models and features HUAWEI XSCENE vehicle laser projection, HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel smart projection headlights, and a HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display. Pre-sales for the X9 officially opened on August 18, with prices set between 299,800 and 379,800 yuan. Despite initial technical issues caused by high traffic on the ordering platform, the company reported receiving 16,217 orders within the first 12 hours. Positioned as a more affordable alternative to the AITO M9, the X9 utilizes the Qiankun Chitu (XMC) platform for integrated control of power, steering, and suspension. The vehicle features an 800V high-voltage platform and a CATL battery; the extended-range version offers a combined range exceeding 1,500 km and a pure electric range of 465 km (CLTC). Additional hardware includes dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and a 9L refrigerator.
