Young Thug YSL Records releases Slime Language 3 ~~release~~

Young Thug and YSL Records released the surprise double album ‘Slime Language 3’, the third installment in a compilation trilogy. The project is divided into Side A and Side B, containing 41 tracks with a runtime of approximately two hours and 15 minutes. It features a wide array of artists, including established names like Future, Travis Scott, ~~and~~ Lil Baby, Quavo, Yeat, Veeze, and Trippie Redd, alongside newer members of the YSL roster such as ~~Tezzus~~ Tezzus, diamond*, BSlime, Biggs Money, and ~~Yung Kayo.~~ the ØWAY collective. The release followed a brief delay due to ‘few changes’ required for the ~~project. While the album showcases the YSL roster,~~ project and was reportedly mixed by producer Mike Dean. Gunna does not appear on this edition following his plea deal in the YSL RICO case and subsequent fallout with Young Thug. Upon its debut, ‘Slime Language 3’ entered the Billboard 200 at No. 146, earning approximately 11,000 equivalent album units during its first tracking week. This represents the lowest opening for the series, contrasting with ‘Slime Language 2’, which debuted at No. 1 in 2021. The performance may have been affected by the unexpected late-Friday release and limited advance promotion. The project arrives as the YSL brand undergoes a period of transition and reconstruction following the YSL RICO trial and shifting label affiliations.
