More recently, at the 2026 Youth Debate Forum, specialists and youth representatives advocated for a comprehensive approach to mental health. Participants emphasized that wellbeing is influenced by social, economic, and family environments, including access to housing, education, and security. In Mexico, organizations such as Voces del Futuro Nezahualcóyotl and Voces Jóvenes MX called for increased public investment to combat social stigmas and address how inequality and violence impact mental health. Meanwhile, in Mendoza, Argentina, eleven Preventive Assistance Mental Health Centers provide interdisciplinary care and artistic workshops for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17.
