Registration has opened for the 27th edition of the Puchar Tymbark, which is described as Europe’s largest football tournament for children. The competition is aimed at students from kindergartens and primary schools. Participants have the chance to compete in a final at the PGE Narodowy stadium, meet with Polish national team players, and participate in a match involving the national team. Tomasz Garbowski, Vice President of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) for Amateur Football, noted the tournament's increasing popularity, while national team coach Jan Urban highlighted its role in developing future talent. The tournament has historically served as a starting point for several Polish internationals, such as Piotr Zieliński and Sebastian Szymański. Following the conclusion of the 26th edition, winners are scheduled to meet the Poland national team on September 30. The prize includes attending the Poland vs. Romania match on October 2. Recent category winners include SP Piotrowice (U-10 girls), SP Kowale (U-10 boys), SP 48 UKS Zaspa Gdańsk (U-12 girls), and SMS Stal Rzeszów (U-12 boys). These winners were honored by coach Jan Urban, captain Robert Lewandowski, Karol Czubak, and Tomasz Kędziora.
