Yunusemre Municipality has introduced several new digital and community-focused initiatives. The municipality launched ‘Bizim Yunusemre’, a digital e-magazine intended to document local projects, infrastructure developments, and citizen experiences through imagery and direct accounts. Following this, the municipality expanded its community services by launching women’s handicraft night markets and child culture and art centers. The markets, organized with the Yunusemre City Council Women’s Assembly, provide a platform for female entrepreneurs to sell handmade goods across various locations. Simultaneously, the child art centers offer workshops in drama and handicrafts to support social and cultural development in children. The ‘Women’s Handiwork Night Market’ specifically aims to support women’s productivity and entrepreneurship by featuring products such as knitting, jewelry, and decorative handmade designs. These items are created by members of the Yunusemre City Council Women’s Assembly and trainees from Women’s Solidarity and Education Centers. The market rollout began at Atatürk Kent Park, with subsequent sessions scheduled every Tuesday at the Ferdi Zeyrek Millet Çarşısı. To accommodate summer heat, additional evening stages are planned at Yıldırım Spor Tesisleri from August 21–23 and at Laleli Meydanı from August 28–30.
