Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses IPO

Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses, a Bengaluru-based company, has filed for a ₹50.12 billion (~$526.36 million) initial public offering (IPO). The offering consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹28.3 billion and an offer for sale of up to 144.53 million shares by existing shareholders and promoters.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the fresh issue to repay borrowings for Zetwerk and its subsidiaries, with remaining funds allocated for acquisitions and general corporate purposes. This capital supports expansion in the United States, where the company sees high demand for power equipment, including transformers for data centers. The US market currently represents nearly 30% of the company’s manufacturing revenue.

Ahead of the public subscription period, Zetwerk raised ₹2,251.23 crore from anchor investors. This anchor book included participation from 99 funds, with domestic mutual funds, life insurance companies, and pension funds accounting for approximately 46% of the allocation. International participants included BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Nomura, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, among others.
