Luxury charter yachts are offering front‑row viewing seats in the Balearic and Spanish waters, priced from €350 000 to €490 000 per week. Ophthalmologists warn that only ISO‑certified glasses protect eyesight; sunglasses, X‑ray film, or welding goggles are unsafe.

Secretary of State for Science Juan Cruz Cigudos expects the event to bring thousands of visitors to rural Spain, while local festivals and cultural programmes are being organised to combine scientific outreach with entertainment.
