2026 Tourism Awards Applications Open Worldwide and Close in Western Sydney
Applications for the World Tourism Awards 2026 remain open until 31 July. Organized by the World Tourism Forum Institute, the awards will culminate in a ceremony on 9‑10 November at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels, featuring 100 categories that span destinations, hospitality, aviation, investment, technology and sustainability. Winners receive the official trophy, a Certificate of Excellence and international media exposure.
In Western Sydney, nominations for the 2026 Western Sydney Tourism Awards close today at 5 pm. The gala will be held on 16 October at the Western Sydney Convention Centre in Penrith. The awards, supported by the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce, offer 13 categories with an entry fee of $120 per category, aiming to showcase the region’s visitor‑economy strength ahead of the new Western Sydney International Airport.
