2026 Awards Applications Opening
Entities: Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium · Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber · Waterford Business Awards · Waterford Chamber · Western Sydney Convention Centre
Overview
In July 2026 several award programmes opened their entry periods. The World Tourism Awards announced that applications were accepted globally until 31 July, with a November ceremony planned in Brussels. A parallel Western Sydney Tourism Awards round closed on 26 July, with its own gala set for October in Penrith.
At the same time, regional business award schemes in the British Isles opened nominations. The Powys Business Awards in Wales released a shortlist of finalists and scheduled its ceremony for late October, while the Waterford Business Awards in Ireland opened entries for a November event. All four programmes aim to recognise achievement in their respective sectors and provide winners with public acknowledgment and networking opportunities.
