3CX launches iOS V5.8 BETA with Apple Intelligence translation

3CX has released the V5.8 BETA for its iOS application, introducing real-time call translation powered by Apple Intelligence. By integrating with Apple CallKit, the app allows users to utilize Apple’s on-device translation models to display translated subtitles for both parties during an individual call or play back translated speech.

To utilize the Live Translation feature, users require an iPhone compatible with Apple Intelligence, iOS 26 or later, and active Apple Intelligence settings. The update also enhances mobile call management, allowing users to select specific outgoing numbers, access queue information, and track abandoned calls directly within the ‘Recents’ section. Most new features require V20 Update 10, with the exception of the Apple Intelligence translation capability.
