42 groups qualified for the 30th Concurs de Castells

The 42 human tower groups (colles) qualified to participate in the 30th Concurs de Castells have been announced following the closure of the Rànquing Estrella Concurs on August 31. The ranking is led by Castellers de Vilafranca, followed by Colla Vella and Joves de Valls.

The competition will take place across three sessions: September 27 in Torredembarra, and October 3 and 4 at the Tarraco Arena. The distribution of groups depends on participation confirmations; for instance, the Minyons de Terrassa, ranked fifth, traditionally decline participation, which shifts the schedule for other groups like Castellers de Barcelona.

Qualified groups have 48 hours to confirm their participation. The final list of participants will be presented on September 9. A public draw to determine the performance order and positions will be held on September 11 at the Teatre-Auditori Pau Casals in El Vendrell.
