Police Search for Missing 90‑Year‑Old from Munich Care Home

The Munich police are conducting a search for 90‑year‑old Hans Dieter Klein, who vanished on 16 July 2026 from the Hasenbergl nursing home. Klein, described as 170 cm tall, 70 kg, with short gray hair and wearing a gray T‑shirt, black trousers and compression stockings, suffers from severe dementia and often becomes disoriented. Police launched an immediate large‑scale search but have found no trace so far. This is not the first incident; previous disappearances led him back to his former residence in Feldmoching. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the 14th police precinct at 089 / 2910‑0 or any police station.
