Missing dementia patients in care homes

A few weeks later, on 7 August 2026, police in Wolfsberg, Austria, launched a search for a 73‑year‑old man with advanced dementia who left his care home and was last seen heading toward the Saualpe area. He was described as 197 cm tall, heavily built, with white hair, wearing a white T‑shirt and short trousers. The Austrian police also called for public assistance.
