46-year-old e-scooter rider found critically injured on field road near Dormagen, Germany

On June 26, a 46‑year‑old man riding an e‑scooter was discovered seriously injured on a rural field road between Neuss‑Allerheiligen and Dormagen‑Nievenheim in Germany, after apparently lying there for several hours.

A passerby who noticed the abandoned scooter early in the morning called emergency services; the man was taken to hospital. Police have not ruled out a traffic accident or a medical emergency and are asking witnesses for information about the incident.
