57-year-old man filmed woman's underrock on Munich‑Augsburg train, witness records incident

A 57‑year‑old passenger on a regional express from Augsburg to Munich filmed a 28‑year‑old woman under her skirt. A fellow traveller saw the act, filmed the suspect with her phone and confronted him. The man apologized, deleted the recordings and showed the woman his U.S. driver’s licence. The woman later filed a complaint with the Federal Police, which opened an investigation for violation of the intimate area by image recordings. The witness’s video was handed over as evidence.

The incident occurred on a Monday at about 18:15 on RE 99. Police are treating the case as a sexual harassment offence and are pursuing legal action against the suspect.
