61st National Skills Competition held in Incheon

The 61st National Skills Competition is currently underway across six venues in Incheon, including Songdo Convensia. The event features 1,677 participants competing in 51 different technical categories, such as welding, animation, cooking, and polymechanics.

Education officials from both Incheon and Sejong have visited the competition sites to encourage student participants. Incheon Superintendent Do Seong-hun inspected venues like Incheon Mechanical Technical High School to monitor safety protocols, specifically regarding heatwave response and emergency management. Meanwhile, Sejong Superintendent Kang Mi-ae met with students from Sejong Mirae High School and Sejong Jang Yeong-sil High School to support their professional growth and technical development.

The competition serves as a platform for vocational students to demonstrate their expertise and explore future career possibilities in various industrial sectors.
