72 sata bez kompromisa mobilizes thousands of volunteers across Croatia

The ‘72 sata bez kompromisa’ (72 Hours Without Compromise) volunteer project has mobilized thousands of young people across more than 20 cities and towns in Croatia. This year, the initiative has gathered approximately 3,500 volunteers to participate in 450 social, labor, and ecological actions.

In Slavonski Brod, over 130 volunteers, primarily high school and working-age youth organized by the Studentski katolički centar (SKAC), completed 20 different actions. These activities included cleaning, painting fences, splitting wood, clearing yards, and collecting donations to assist citizens in need.

In Sinj, which is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the project, more than 150 volunteers participated in various activities. These ranged from creative workshops and children's games to supporting the elderly, assisting families in need, and conducting ecological work. Sinj Mayor Miro Bulj expressed his support for the volunteers, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in fostering community solidarity and values among the youth.
