73‑year‑old Hiker Rescued Safe in Monte Livata, Italy

A 73‑year‑old hiker from Aprilia went missing on the trails of Monte Livata in the Parco naturale regionale dei Monti Simbruini. After she lost her way, her husband called emergency services. Search teams from the Corpo nazionale soccorso alpino e speleologico del Lazio, supported by local Carabinieri and fire brigades, combed the area. Fellow hikers later found her, relayed her position, and enabled rescuers to reach her quickly. She was in good health and escorted back to the road where she reunited with her husband.

The coordinated effort highlighted the importance of local collaboration and rapid response in mountainous rescue operations.
