The ABC drama ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ paid tribute to Fiona Lowe, the 13-year-old daughter of executive producer and director Chad Lowe, during the Season 2 premiere. The episode, titled ‘Going Rogue’, concluded with a title card reading ‘In Loving Memory, Fiona Lowe’ accompanied by her photograph.

Fiona Lowe passed away on September 29. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, her death was ruled a suicide. In a statement, Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, described Fiona as a ‘smart, creative’ girl who ‘loved to dance’ and was the ‘light of our lives.’

The family requested privacy during this devastating time and included the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline number in their announcement to assist those struggling with mental health.
