99 launches 99Premier premium service and Zesto restaurant software
The ride-hailing company 99 has announced several new initiatives, including the launch of a premium service called 99Premier. This new category will debut as a pilot program in Recife, Brazil, during the second half of October. To qualify for 99Premier, drivers must have a minimum rating of 4.9 stars and at least 100 completed trips, using vehicles manufactured from 2022 onwards. Passengers must maintain a rating of at least 4.7. The company expects drivers in this category to earn up to 60% more than in the 99Pop tier.
Additionally, 99 introduced Zesto, a subscription-based software designed for small and medium-sized restaurants. The platform integrates orders from various marketplaces, proprietary channels, and WhatsApp, offering features such as sales forecasting and margin control.
On the security front, the company is implementing AI-driven real-time support to monitor delivery data, such as speed and sudden braking, to identify irregular patterns. For female users, 99 is introducing pairing filters and message monitoring. The company has allocated over R$ 150 million to its security budget for 2026.
