99 launches Zesto AI management platform for restaurants

The company 99 has launched Zesto, a SaaS platform designed to assist small and medium-sized restaurants with management, marketing, and order fulfillment. Announced at the 99 Tech Summit in Rio de Janeiro, the platform integrates over 90 functionalities, centralizing orders from marketplaces, local points of sale, and private channels such as WhatsApp.

A core feature of Zesto is its artificial intelligence, which includes a virtual assistant named Zeca. This AI agent provides 24-hour customer service via WhatsApp, presenting menus, taking orders, and answering inquiries. Additionally, the AI assists with business intelligence by offering sales forecasting, menu suggestions, and margin identification.

According to data from Instituto Locomotiva presented during the launch, managing multiple channels remains a significant challenge for the sector; while 91% of surveyed managers use delivery apps, only 12% utilize an integrated system. Zesto is currently being rolled out nationally in Brazil and is already in use by more than 1,000 restaurants.
