A1 Motorway police sanction 23 drivers for speeding

Police operations on the A1 motorway in the Alba and Hunedoara regions have resulted in significant sanctions for speeding. During nighttime enforcement, 23 drivers were fined for exceeding legal speed limits.

Notable violations included a 22-year-old driver from Ialomița recorded at 186 km/h in a 110 km/h zone, and a 31-year-old from Hunedoara reaching 190 km/h. Other high-speed incidents involved a driver from Arad clocked at 187 km/h and a 41-year-old from Sibiu at 183 km/h.

As a result of these actions, four drivers had their licenses suspended for periods ranging from 90 to 120 days, and multiple fines were issued for the various infractions.
