A1 Motorway maintenance causes closures in Italy

Scheduled pavement maintenance on the A1 motorway will result in several overnight closures in Italy between October 26 and October 29.

On the Milan-Naples section, the stretch between Fabro and Chiusi-Chianciano Terme heading toward Florence will close from 22:00 on Monday, October 26, until 06:00 on Tuesday, October 27. The Fabro Est service area will also be closed during this period, with heavy vehicle parking restricted starting at 18:00 on Monday.

On the Rome-Naples section, the stretch between Ceprano and Frosinone heading toward Rome will face two separate closures. The first is scheduled from 22:00 on Tuesday, October 27, to 06:00 on Wednesday, October 28. The second will occur from 22:00 on Wednesday, October 28, to 06:00 on Thursday, October 29.

Alternative routes are recommended for affected drivers, including using the E45 via Perugia or the SS6 Casilina depending on the specific section being serviced.
