A15 highway near Rotterdam to face ten days of traffic delays

Roadworks on the A15 highway near Rotterdam are expected to cause significant traffic disruptions from Friday, October 16, through October 26, 2026. Rijkswaterstaat has announced that asphalt replacement is required on the worn road surface between the Maasvlakte and the Vaanplein junction.

During this period, the parallel lane of the A15 heading towards Maasvlakte/Europoort will face intermittent closures between the Ridderkerk and Benelux junctions. Rijkswaterstaat warns that travel times on weekdays could increase by up to one hour. Commuters are advised to check real-time traffic information, work from home if possible, or travel outside of peak hours to avoid delays.
