Multiple fatal and serious traffic accidents reported in Croatia and Kosovo

Multiple serious traffic incidents have been reported across the region. In Croatia, a fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred on the A3 highway near Zagreb involving five vehicles, including two trucks. The accident, which involved a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction, resulted in one death and caused significant traffic congestion.

In another Croatian incident in the Gajnice neighborhood of Zagreb, a 31-year-old driver with a blood alcohol content of 2.1 per mille lost control of his vehicle, crashed through a fence, and entered the NK Ponikve football field during a match. The accident injured two people, including a 42-year-old pedestrian, and the driver has been arrested for reckless driving.

In Kosovo, a 21-year-old woman died in the village of Vljašnje after being struck by a car while walking. The driver was arrested, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
