Traffic accidents in Croatia and Kosovo

Overview

Multiple serious traffic incidents have been reported in Croatia and Kosovo. In Croatia, a fatal multi-vehicle collision involving five vehicles, including two trucks, occurred on the A3 highway near Zagreb after a vehicle traveled in the wrong direction. This accident resulted in one death and significant congestion.

In a separate Croatian incident in the Gajnice neighborhood of Zagreb, a 31-year-old driver under the influence of alcohol crashed through a fence and into a football field during a match, injuring two people. In Kosovo, a 21-year-old woman died in the village of Vljašnje after being struck by a car. Authorities have arrested the driver in the Zagreb incident and are investigating the circumstances of the collision in Kosovo.
