A4 motorway tolls between Katowice and Krakow to end in 2027

The toll section of the A4 motorway connecting Katowice and Krakow is scheduled to become free for passenger cars and motorcycles by March 15, 2027. This change will occur when the concession held by Stalexport expires.

Currently, drivers face significant costs for this route, paying 18 PLN at both the entry and exit gates, totaling 36 PLN for a one-way trip. Upon the expiration of the current agreement, control of the motorway will be fully transferred to the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).
