A7 to launch USDT-based international payment service

The Russian international settlement system A7, established by Bank PSB, is scheduled to launch ‘A7 International’ on 13 October. The new service allows users to pay foreign counterparty invoices using USDT, while the recipient receives funds via a standard SWIFT bank transfer in the required currency.

Targeting foreign trade operators and individuals, the service will operate with a fixed fee of 0.3 percent. A7, which was founded in 2024, aims to develop an independent global payment infrastructure across more than 100 countries. In 2025, the system processed approximately 19 percent of Russian companies’ cross-border trade settlements.
