Greece announces 2026 Single Application for Support updates
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has announced several simplifications for the 2026 Single Application for Support via the myAGRO platform. These changes aim to address issues raised during previous application cycles and were developed in collaboration with the Hellenic Agricultural Cooperatives Union (ETHAS) and the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE).
Key updates include improved access for authorized bodies to submitted applications and the introduction of mass authorization acceptance for producers. To reduce bureaucracy, the requirement to print, sign, certify, and scan the ELGA Single Declaration of Cultivation and Breeding and Grazing Fees has been abolished. The ELGA declaration will now be replaced by a digital file generated through myAGRO.
Regarding banking, IBANs used in the 2025 application will automatically appear as a default for 2026, provided they are verified and belong to the producer. For rental agreements, handwritten leases with an annual rent up to 960 euros do not need to be declared in the current AADE application, as they will be handled later via the Property Ownership and Management Registry (MIDA). Additionally, new lease declarations are not required after a contract expires if terms remain unchanged, and new declarations for heirs will not be necessary after January 1, 2026.
