Greek AADE farmer support and subsidy oversight

Overview

Since July 2026, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has expanded digital support and oversight for Greek farmers. On 4 August, AADE activated the myAGRO platform, the exclusive channel for submitting the 2026 Unified Agricultural Support Application (EAE). By 16 September, the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food and AADE announced deadline extensions for the 2026 EAE, including a 25 September deadline for Basic Income Support advances. On 21 September, AADE issued reminders to 344,536 producers who had not yet submitted applications or authorized agents, noting a final submission deadline of 16 October. AADE also released guidance on electronic leases, inheritance procedures for owners deceased after 1 January 2026, and technical issues regarding ATAK and KAEC numbers. By 23 September, AADE clarified that while applications submitted by 25 September may receive advances by 31 October, those submitted between 26 September and 16 October may receive advances by 30 November. Reports indicated that the myAGRO platform has faced technical difficulties during this period. On 8 October, AADE released a template for a solemn declaration to assist producers facing objective difficulties in identifying agricultural plots using a valid Land Property Identity Number (ATAK) or National Land Registry Code (KAEEK).
