AADE initiates 2021 road tax audit and agricultural subsidy notifications
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has launched a campaign to identify and certify unpaid road taxes from 2021. Taxpayers are being notified via electronic messages, with the mass notification process scheduled to conclude by September 30. For those unreachable electronically, official letters will be sent via mail.
Vehicle owners have a final opportunity to document exemptions—such as theft, destruction, or permanent deregistration—through the myCar platform. This special portal will be open from October 1 until October 30, 2026. Notably, vehicles belonging to persons with disabilities and those registered to deceased individuals are excluded from this specific audit.
Separately, AADE is notifying farmers and livestock breeders regarding the 2026 Single Application for Support (OSE). To receive advance payments by October 31, applications must be completed by September 25. Applications submitted between September 26 and October 16 may receive advances by November 30. However, reports indicate that the myAGRO platform is facing technical difficulties, which may hinder the process.
