AADE introduces simplifications for 2026 Greek agricultural subsidy applications
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), in collaboration with the National Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (ETHAS) and the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE), has announced several simplifications for the 2026 Single Application for Support (EAE) via the myAGRO platform. These measures aim to address technical difficulties encountered by farmers and authorized agents.
Key changes include the introduction of mass acceptance for authorizations, allowing authorized agents seamless access to submitted applications. To reduce bureaucracy, the requirement to print, sign, and scan the ELGA Single Declaration of Cultivation-Breeding and Grazing Fees has been abolished; this is replaced by a digital file generated directly by myAGRO.
Additionally, IBAN details previously declared in 2025 will now be automatically pre-filled after a validity check to prevent payment delays. Regarding land leases, farmers are not currently required to declare 'handwritten' leases with annual rents up to 960 euros through the AADE application, as these will be handled later via the Real Estate Ownership and Management Registry (MIDA).
