Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj has accused the Delhi Government of failing to provide necessary water arrangements for the traditional Visarjan (idol immersion) ceremony at a major Durga Puja pandal in Chittaranjan Park (CR Park).

Bharadwaj described the situation as “unbelievable” and “shameless,” alleging that the government is intentionally obstructing festivities. He further accused the Delhi Police of harassing organizers by reducing the operating hours of the pandals from 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM, a move he warned could lead to overcrowding and increased risks of stampedes.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police for South Delhi has rejected allegations regarding police interference.
