A 43-year-old Swiss man has confessed to a spree killing at a techno rave in Aarau, Switzerland. The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday at the Schachen racecourse, resulted in the death of 22-year-old Italian national Maria Spinelli and left six others injured.

Authorities report the suspect fired more than 40 shots indiscriminately into the crowd using an AK-74 assault rifle and pistols.
