Aardman Animations releases Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

Aardman Animations has released its third feature film featuring the character Shaun the Sheep, titled ‘The Beast of Mossy Bottom’. The film continues the stop-motion tradition of using plasticine and wire models to depict small-town life and community parody.

The plot follows Shaun and his farm family as they prepare for Halloween festivities. In an attempt to compensate for lost crops, Shaun uses an unfiltered growth hormone to create a scientifically engineered pumpkin strain. The experiment results in massive gourds and a transformation for the Farmer, who becomes a Bigfoot-like figure after coming into contact with the concoction.
