Aardman Animations' Shaun the Sheep movie earns perfect Rotten Tomatoes score

Aardman Animations’ upcoming film, ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom’, has achieved a perfect 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes following early screenings. This marks a rare critical milestone for the studio, joining other highly-rated projects like ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’.

The film, directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, follows the flock at Mossy Bottom Farm as they prepare for Halloween. After the Farmer accidentally destroys a pumpkin patch, Shaun attempts to use a growth serum to fix the crop, leading to a series of chaotic events involving a perceived ‘beast’ and a mistaken identity involving the Farmer.

Distributed by StudioCanal and Sky, the movie is scheduled for theatrical release on Friday, September 18, 2026. The production features a voice ensemble including Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes, and Paul Whitehouse.
